Join me for fun, relaxing paper-folding craft workshops in Cupertino! We'll learn together and support the Alzheimer’s Association through sponsorship of the 2008 Memory Walk on Treasure Island.
Workshops will be flexible—primary topics are listed, but I am open to helping individuals with projects planned for other dates and to covering additional topics as time allows. Sessions will last about two hours, with some extra time available for those who wish to stick around. Class fee of $25 (or $60 for three classes) includes materials and whatever you make, and all funds will be donated.
Invite your friends! if you have a group of just 3 or more, contact me to arrange a custom date/time and topics And keep checking this website for updates to the schedule, as I will make any new classes available to others as well.
To register: E-mail me to reserve a space in the class you want to attend or if you have questions, and I will get back to you with details. Please also let me know if you’d like to be on a list to be notified as other dates & times become available.
Currently Scheduled Classes: Note: There are no classes currently scheduled, but please contact me if you have a group of 3 or more and would like to set up a custom date/time in the Silicon Valley/Peninsula area.

So verstaile! Fun for packaging gifts, using as table favors, decorations, place cards, etc.
Photo Cubes
Customize with school colors or special papers; use for photos or favorite quotations, dried flowers, Bible verses, and more. A thoughtful and unique hostess gift - keep a few on hand for gift-giving, or create from papers specific to an occasion.
The Sonobe Cube
Just fun and colorful! Use for decoration, to brighten your spirits, hide a small gift, or create a garland by stringing a number of multipatterned cubes and beads...
Fortune "Cookies"
A very easy project with fun applications. Colorful and elegant with beautiful paper on the outside and coordinating foil (and a fortune!) on the inside. A fun ice-breaker and party activity.
Earrings
Yes, you can even make earrings from small squares of paper. Great for matching an outfit, preserving a favorite pattern in wearable art, adding beads to customize earrings to an occasion --- lots of possibilities!
Froebel Star
Known by a variety of names (including Advent, German, Swedish, Polish, Danish, Moravian, Mexican and Pennsylvania Stars), this star is made by folding 4 strips of paper. Folding them is becoming a lost art -- come learn this simple technique with a sophisticated result.
